Everyday Rewards Targeted Offers

If I was Woolworths, these would be the bottom of the list for things to incentivise. Why reward a customer for doing something they already do?

Thus why we selectively scan cards (or genuinely take spend elsewhere) so that we are incentivised to come back.
Both Woolworths and Coles are taking a long time to adjust to the fact that we are spending less.

With Coles we've almost stopped spending there. Wife no recent offers and for me they still send high spend offers for the account. A few weeks had spend $80 for 2000 bonus points but I purposefully spent $63 and still no offers.

Woolworths just keeps sending 10x offers on over 1000 products. Silly offer that's only useful in conjunction with spend offers.
