Everyday Rewards Targeted Offers

Spend $185 in one or more shops in-store or online at Woolworths to collect 1600 points each week.
I never spend anywhere this amount in a single shop.

$50 spend for 2600 points - will take this one.
$90 spend for 800 points each week for two weeks - will probably pass.

4 accounts have 10x points offer

Interesting that the one account with spend $50 x 4 weeks with 800 bonus points each week has listed last week's effort as failed. Apparently it needed to be activated this week 3 but not for week 4. Makes no sense that offer was activated on week 1 but week 2 failed and now they are asking for week 3 akd week 4 to be activated.

1000 points for $130 spend each week for 2 weeks. I have boosted this but am unlikely to earn the bonuses as typically only spend >$100 once a month.

$130 is a very high bar for a single person household especially since its not possible to do whole shop at 1 supermarket brand given certain things are exclusive to Coles or Harris Farm.

At least Woolies usually has the “1 or more shop” flexibility unlike FBs. But yeah, I wouldn’t be rushing towards that offer either.

The one or more shop is useful if you have more than one Woolies near you and you were unable to get a couple of items due to lack of stock at one store; or you do a bunch of small shops.

However I generally shop once a week as I rarely buy bread (the only item that has a shelf life less than a week, as meat can be frozen) doesn't really help me.

After yesterdays announcement by WOW on their expected profit forecast (down down - sorry COL) there is no wonder that the offers have dried up - they have cut their promo and marketing budgets which would part fund some of these things in EDR.

Agree I was about to mention that. They did mention they are still increasing instore promotions, so it appears the margin is going to be burnt in store, and EDR will take a back seat.

Coles still throwing a few offers around. Got
10% off this week plus spend and earn offers.

Coles get a free kick in this. The competitor Woollies "can't" do it as they are trying to preserve margins therefore there is no need for Coles to "want" to do it even though their numbers look pretty decent.

Mrs Moo received $100 over 2 weeks for 4,500 plus $50 online order this week for 1,000.

Will knock over.

No offers for me the big cow.

Read the results release and its wording around Rewards - wording very much seems like they put a lot of available spend/budget on 'Boost Your Budget' 10x points available to everyone (which ends on Tuesday). The % of total transactions which has a scanned rewards card has gone up too, which means same pool of money but more people eligible. Offers tend to increase in the lead up to Christmas anyway, guess we'll see what happens...

Well for the first time in 12 months I got 4 boosters. All things we buy but by a ? coincidence all on special this week at calls.
also 20x points on selected items. Mostly what i used to buy in Tasmania such as Cripps.

Mrsdrron got spend 0.01 cents per week for 2 weeks for 2000 points. Maybe I need to buy a lotto ticket.

He noted the things I buy on special then become boosters when they are not on special often 1-2 weeks after. I can see what they are trying to do there. Not falling for that one.
