Everyday Rewards Targeted Offers

Those getting the Qantas offer, have you got your accounts set to points sweep or cash?
Autotransfer to QFF points.

I received the offer yesterday afternoon:

This seems very similar to last years offering (including the requirement to spend $30 in store to receive said voucher).

Points sweep 3 accounts.

How do you know if offer has been activated? I clicked on email, it opened up Everyday rewards, logged in with one time pin but no mention of activating offer or email confirmation.

You need to activate within the app as you do with all EDR offers.

Noting that latest version of app seems to auto activate all offers unless you change the settings in preferences.

I wonder if, during redemption season, they are cutting back on offers for those who have chosen bank for Christmas.

The terms were quite clearly outlined in the email form Qantas.

If you are banking for Xmas imagine you will need to change back to QF points, then wait to receive the offer then activate it during the offer period.

Conditions below per email from Qantas (bolding is mine):

Sorry I should have clarified. Not interested in qf hotels voucher. I'm referring to the spend X get Y promos that have been scant of late in my case

I think they have cut back across the board, I've not had a decent spend x for y offer in months.

Those are long gone for me as well. All the good offers I've been getting are from Coles, which frankly I don't mind since Virgin Australia points can be used across a number of Star Alliance partners for long haul trips.

To the extent that I am earning EveryDayRewards points (and therefore Qantas Points) it comes from gift card bonus offers and the occasional 20x on category items I spend a decent amount on (e.g., last month I had a 20x on ready made meals bought from Woolies Metro).

Given the fact that the price difference between Woolies and Coles is negligible at best, I don't quite understand Woolies strategy here. I'm not spending much with them (aside from the gift cards), and have shifted most of my spend to Coles. One would think that Woolies would want more of my business but apparently not.
