Everyday Rewards Targeted Offers

On another note, update the app they have a game again.

Not sure what everyone else is getting, but I got a bonus Cubeez.
Yeah seems like there will be 3 weeks of these offers - expect them all to be Cubeez related in some way (though it would be nice if they chucked something else in there).

No offers for me this week, gimme my 2x back! 😅

That's four weeks in a row of sub-standard offers with spend targets increasing.

One account spend $90 for 700 bonus points
Another account spend $190 for 1700 points (use this for once a month 10% off shopping. Think offer has been as high as spend $240)
Another account spend $90 for 900 bonus points
Another account spend $140 for 1000 bonus points
Another account 10x bonus points + 4x bonus points on next shop for birthday

At least with 2x or 10x points you get something. They keep sending me mediocre points offer for huge spend amount $130-$160 which I will never get anywhere near, so I've effectively got nada for months now.

The cubeez game things gave me 5x points this week if I spend $100.

Plus 1300 points for $140 spend.

I did a shop last Sat, and that only came to $90, and expensive week for me is like $110.

I have no idea where they get the idea that a single person household is ever likely to need to spend $140.

It's not about what you need, they typically want to entice you to spend a little more than normal. For my 5 person household they wanted me to spend $350 on one account and $250 on another. Meanwhile, Coles is feeling neglected and wants me to spend only $130.
The $250 won out (10% discount) but Coles might get a mini shop tomorrow.

2200 points for $260 spend this week. Arriving home today to an empty fridge. Not a rocket science award, but first such in several months. Nice when the stars align. BTW usually a regular shopper but haven't been for a fortnight.

I get that, so maybe a target 10-20% above normal spend would make sense, but 55% spend increase is just absurd. It achieves nothing as the total is so impractical that I don't even add a couple of extra discretionary items.

Its also 27% above your higher $110 shop, or $30 which is not hard to spend.
But there is not a lot of logic to it. After just hitting my $250 spend the next target is $230. Plus a second target of $120 for online (which is most of our WW shopping), totalling 4900 points. I have previously seen Coles in particular gradually increase the target each week until you don't hit it.

Shopping is not something you can increase easily.

One account $190 spend for 1400 bonus points (+ 4x bonus points on first shop for my birthday, did $30 shop on this account)

Another account $190 spend for 1200 bonus points

Another account $140 spend for 1100 bonus points

Another account $120 for 900 bonus points (the spend target on this account has been $60-$90 for 700-900 bonus points and now huge increase for same bonus points)

Last account had spend targets of $60-$90 did not receive anything.

These spend targets are ridiculous. We took a break from shopping.
