Does anyone have experience with seat 44A on JQ 787-8? How bad is the door protrusion? Am I able to have my legs opened let's say 30-40 degrees without touching my neighbour?

I can't find a single picture of the seat for the life of me.

Thanks

👏👏👏 Marvellous. Just realised that's the exact seat I will be seated in 3 weeks time

Sat in 44A for MEL-SGN a couple of months ago.

Door protrusion wasn't too bothersome for me. Plenty of space to stretch the legs out. The proximity to the toilets was annoying however, especially as people would the space in front as a waiting area when there are a few people waiting for the toilets. The constant traffic and opening/closing of the toilet door was annoying. For this reason, I'd recommend 23A/J as an alternative if available. This wouldn't stop me from selecting them if they were the only extra legroom seats available however.
