Hi, in 2 weeks we will be flying MEL-LAX, my husband and myself will be seated in F seats, however my niece will be in a PE seat (upstairs).
I have flown the A380 many times and know that there are two levels to boarding etc and wont have a problem at Tullermarine, but can someone enlighten me, to how I will find my niece when she gets off the aircraft in LAX, as for the life of me I can not remember what the set up is?

The LAX VLA gates have the upper and lower aerobridges; your niece will exit behinf the Business class passengers.

They are supposed to wait until all J/W PAX have exited the aircraft before letting Economy PAX go but at LAX, this rarely happens.

The ethics may be mixed doing the following, but your best bet would be to proceed to immigration yourselves and save a spot for her - tell her not to dally and come looking for you.

It IS quite a long walk from the VLA gates to the immigration area.

Long as in say 5-10 minutes of brisk walking- I was expecting a half-hour trek after all the stories.
