Hopefully they don't pay too much attention to the rules

Promotion begins at 12:01 a.m. CT on March 21, 2014, and ends 11:59 p.m. CT on May 23, 2014. Open to legal residents of the 50 U.S./D.C., who are members of the American Airlines AAdvantage® program in good-standing at the time of participation. Void where prohibited. Subject to Official Rules at aa.com/aadvantagepassportchallengeterms. Sponsor: American Airlines, Inc. 4333 Amon Carter Blvd., Ft. Worth, Texas 76155.

It'll take some time to get all/most of the stamps - at least it will keep SWMBO's account active for another 1½ years.

Thanks for this! Picked up 1,150 points in about 30 mins.

Also you can also get 500 miles for flying a Oneworld airline, so even just quoting your AA number for one short QF flight ought to get you some extra. Not sure if an award flight on QF would qualify - I can't see that it's explicitly excluded in the T & Cs but you'd assume not.

I am hoping that the EQP goal is reasonably low as I am travelling later this week. Pity my plate turning skills weren't very good. All subject to not enforcing the residency rule of course...

That's exactly what I used it for and it came at a perfect time as we were pondering ways to get hers ticking over!

how long does it take to post? can you just play one game or have to complete all games to get points?

Well, there is a simple way to fix the residency question!

I'm going with if they sent me the email then they must think I'm eligible! This is VERY useful for my partner's account as he hardly EVER flies anywhere. And a nice small bundle of bonus points for me too. :)

I just grabbed 1,150 miles too! :) Up to 116,150 in my account with that pending purchasing miles under an AA promo this year (and SPG promo -> AA miles).

I think that there is a simply search tool bar that gives you 100 miles max, and one mile per 3 unique searches, another easy way to keep accounts active, that is, if AA still offers this search tool.

It was pulled, maybe somewhat more than 6 months ago IIRC.

Hi, anyone go another cheap extender to AA miles?

There is the New York Times offer, but a) I can't find it on the AA website and

b) I must have to be sure to cancel before renewal.

There's always the redeem side of things that will keep an account active too, may be less hassle than earning. Subscribe to a magazine for min of 400 miles (send to friend in US or pick a random hotel address!) or donate to charity for 1000 miles.

I have 2 accounts and one subscribed to the Washington Post ecopy. The other needs to subscribe to the New York Times for a similar amount of $8. I liked the idea of the FB link that doesn't require a cc!

The FB AA passport thingy worked nicely for my wife, took a while to post though.

I remember some people signed up to the Wall Street Journal for $8 and 1700 miles. Has anyone done it and had trouble cancelling after the min 8 weeks? (I signed up on one account at the end of June and the miles posted fairly quickly).
