Saw this when in booking process this morning, have not noticed it before. Are days of row 3 allocation over?

It's just the rebranded "blue zone", and as far as I know applies only to the mid-cabin exit rows. You must either fly J all the time or only book flights where all blue zone seats are already sold - I've never seen it not offered during booking. :o

True. Given they're a scarce, desirable resource I've got no problems with them being offered as a cash extra (especially when there's six seats in row 3 available for status pax). Just that at 40% of the fare it starts getting a bit beyond the price I'd pay.
