EY A380 SYD-AUH starts Monday 1st June

Flying to Syd - london via AUH in First Apartments in 3 weeks time - will give a trip report - my first time in first! It is a work trip and will be earning points - should give my velocity account a big boost! Will go again with wife next year.

Tough way to start your F experience
In September if F Apartment I have chosen forward facing seat. Didn't like the idea of looking backwards the whole flight

I'm flying BNE-LHR in First with EY 2 weeks today. Looking forward to experiencing the 787 to AUH and then the larger F cabin on the A380 to London. Excited!

Very nice First flight Everything after will definitely feel like a step or three backwards, so I feel your pain in advance

I scored a FF AUH-SYD F on the 380 for 1st week of July last week and yesterday my wife decided to come along as well. What do you know - other seat turned up today and I was straight onto AA to grab it.

Afterwards I told my wife that we'd be doing something together on a plane that we'd never done before! That's right - having S....howers.

I'm now back on the hunt for F AUH-SYD on the 380 and see absolutely no award seats available on the EY site. Looked from Jan 16 to May, nothing. Are you finding award seats on AA??..

If its not on ey.com AA certainly arent going to be able to book it!!

Can't book on AA.com directly. I'm looking at close in dates rather than next year - e..g yesterday there were First seats available on 3 days next week AUH-SYD. I didn't look at SYD-AUH so YMMV.

EY have taken all 1st inbound AUH-BNE flight 484 off the table. Nothing available from now until 19th May 16. Does anyone know if this a glitch or a permanent position??

Nah - used a travel agent so I doubt I will score the Plusgrade offer

While it may say you have to book direct with EY, in practice I have found a polite call to EY to check on your booking can work wonders. While you are on the phone ask them if your email address is included in the booking. This seems to be the missing link to getting a PlusGrade offer.

When I've rung and got them to add it in - then I've received PlusGrade offers every time.

Hi EtihadAirways, I tried booking 1st seat today for 28th May but again no 1st available. I did call Virgin and Etihad call centre and they advised only J available. This is the case no matter what date I look at... So unless you know something more, I would say there are no 1st available on AUH-BNE 484... Cheers

Same problem for me for April 2016

I managed to find availability in F on way out on 13/04, but only J for any return date. Annoying as would love to get F on A380 for both legs coming back too

Happy days for me on the way to Rugby World Cup!

Had EY 17 A380 from AUH to LHR F Apartments secured since Feb and have also QF1 in F booked to LHR as a back stop.

There has been no SYD/AUH F in A380 on 15/9/15 when I need to go so secured the F suite for BNE /AUH 787 out on 15/9/15 a few weeks ago.

Check today and grabbed the F Aprtment from SYD/AUH on EY 455, so F all the way on EY with some chill time in AUH.

Coming back in F on QF2 so will continue the hunt for SQ and EY and EK back in F to better the QF experience!
