EY AUH First Class Lounge reopened- Do Platinums have access?

Can someone confirm the exact location of the lounge?
I thought the location was poorly signposted with signs to the F lounge suddenly vanishing. As you go through the last set of shops before you reach the gates, you'll see a set of security scanners tucked away on your left (when I went by these were unused), the F lounge is right near those. I missed it the first walk through because there were signs indicating EY lounges further ahead. It feels like it's the same space as it used to be - but either the old signage was better or the exterior area was less distracting because I didn't have the same problem before the F lounge was redone.

I'd second the vote for the MXP Casa Alitalia lounge, very nice (not only do they have bacon, they have _crispy_ bacon) and boarding directly from the lounge.

In line with the update to the Etihad website noted above, I just received a phone call from Velocity notifying me that First lounge access was reinstated for Platinums as of the 4th of this month and they will update their website soon.

I had previously sent an email expressing my displeasure at the removal of this benefit and at the time I was told it was a 'management decision' by Velocity to remove access. So good news that they have changed their mind, and also a nice gesture to follow-up with a phone call.

One wonders how this decision might have been impacted by the outrage over VA's decision to impose an EY redemption surcharge.

We had access to EY First Lounge on June 25th. AUH aiport was chaotic! Went to one EY lounge near arrival which was incorrect but asked for directions. Told to walk 7 mins through Duty Free. After manoeuvring through the crowds, we ended up at the Business lounge. We asked again for directions and was told, that we had to go back another 5 mins to the Duty Free area and there would be a sign there! Traipsing back and there still weren't any signs to the EY First Class lounge. We asked the Duty Free staff and they pointed us in the correct direction which had a sign stating Premium Lounges, no specific EY First Class Lounge sign!
With the waiting in line to get through Arrival security and walking back and forth, we wasted about 50+mins of precious lounge access.
We only had time for a quick sip of champagne and shoulder massage before we had to board at the other end of the terminal. Not an enjoyable experience. :(
EY First Class Lounge signage was hopeless!

Does anyone else think that as this question was posted in the "Ask VFF" thread......and it being an excellent question of substance that VFF could/should have answered, it is somewhat strange that our supposed Velocity rep is silent. Very poor effort IMHO as I'm quite sure VFF would have known about the positive change back well before we did and yet he/she remained silent. One has to ask whether there is a point in having an official rep that does not act like one.

If you are traveling Business class the lounge is VERY easy to find. After security at the Business Class check-in area it is about 10 metres directly ahead of you. There right now and loving it! Plats can have one free treatment at the spa or beard trim/shave place - their guest has to pay.
