... She will be facing some disappointment today as we will be at the JFK F lounge... not much of a comparison really ;)
Take her to the A/C next door first ... ;)

Too late for that - she is straight into the F lounge - needs bubbles after the TSA experience ;)

Due to the 5 hour delay on QF9 on 7/7 I missed my connection to QF5 in SIN, and so got routed via LHR instead. This gave me the opportunity to try the FLounge in T5 for the first time. The FLounge itself is large and quite good. The showers are outside and shared with the J lounge, but still reasonable, large and clean with a great set-up of shower roses (water comes at you from at least 3 levels). Wine and bubbles available were first rate, had a Dom and a Bolly, and a couple of great reds :D. But the food set-up is way short of the Australian FLounges. Firstly, it is difficult to attract the attention of anyone so as to order from the alacarte menu, and then the choices available are quite poor. And the stuff available at the self-serve buffet is even worse. We really are spoiled with the FLounges in SYD and MEL.
