Perhaps Lindsay meant to refer to that now extinct beasty, the UC. ;)

Now here's a thing, back in my SG days I would always prefer to use the Skyview lounge over the QF/BA J lounge as IMHO the food is better there.

is that still around? I swear last time I tried to find it that it appeared to have turned into a kids playground :?::?::?:

I fondly remember the hot pork buns there

I believe CX still use it; it's up an escalator on the main T1 concourse near the D gates.

I'm pleased someone else enjoyed the pizza in the J lounge....maybe I could nip in their next time and grab a few slices before retiring to a quiet corner in the F.
Each time (quite a few ;)) I have been in the SIN FLounge there has been the mini pizzas available at some time during my visit. I haven't been in the JLounge for awhile, do they have proper pizzas or how are they different to those in the FLounge?

I shall be in SIN in December, going with mother and father on a shopping trip..... I can get 1 person in with my QP, but not the other (although will try to play the family card!). Is the Jlounge decent? And if so, would it be worth trying to source a QP single use pass so as to not miss out? :)

During busy times for the QF/BA lounges it is definitely much better to be in the Skyview lounge. It has reasonable food selection, more than adequate wine list and spirits and it also has lovely continental sponge cake with icing and cherries. Also I have never had issues with kids running around and there is always a free desktop to access the internet.

What date? I will be transitting there on the 21st but maybe too early for your flights anyway.

Yes the J lounge is decent enough. You can always sit out in the terminal and let your parents access the lounge. ;)

I realise that Dave.

I don't remember ever been asked for a passport when entering the lounge so Flashware Junior could hand Qantas Club card and boarding pass to Flashware Senior and he can then invite Flashware mother into the lounge with him. But I should not suggest deceptive and unethical behaviour on a public forum especially against a highly respected and ethical airline like Qantas.

That's probably my issue, I am always too honest and seem to get walked over
