I stayed in Seattle and San Fran. Fairmonts. My first choice of hotels is Hilton. Reading hotel reviews I was not impressed with San Fran. r/views and had a look @ Fairmont.

When I booked I was able to get advance purchase for cheaper than Hilton anyway. $139 for Seattle and $210 San Fran. Fairmonts.

Very friendly staff, comfortable rooms in both places and beautiful bay views in San Fran. The food at both places was very good and prices not over the top.

Next time I go o/s I will be checking out Fairmont again.

I stayed at the Fairmont in Singapore about a year ago, was a fantastic hotel and would definitely stay there again. I love the fact you get free internet in room just by signing up to their loyalty scheme.

I stayed at the Fairmont in Lake Louise and Calgary. Both very comfortable and had great service. I'd do it again without a second thought.

I was recently in Japan with an onward UA flight from Narita to Seattle, and son suggested I stay at the Fairmont for a change. It's an impressive property, reasonably priced, handy to most attractions, and great staff.
Will try them again on my next O/S jaunt..........

Cheers Dee
