Offered her the webpage, stil lavailabl,e with T=C, she declined said she had all the info. 1 hour of propaganda.... Asked to speak to her Phillipines supervisor - multiple faux apologies from supervisor, 4 days later, no rectification... BTW flight back in QF C was with AAdvantage miles QF miles are worthless with exorbitant taxes..... Anyone have similar issues with Double Points Travel Credit Promo Ended 31.12.23 bonus points crediting?

What do the T&Cs exactly say about when the bonus points will be credited? Often the time lag for the bonus begins at the end of the promo period.

I am sorry I have no idea what the second post means about QF staff info , however I thought there was a dedicated email address you could put forward your case for your missing points ?

At least then it isn't CC said this passenger said this etc

And let’s NOT switch to VA.

Their call centre is really no better.

Anything simple and you’re fine. But try asking for anything in the terms and conditions and you’re toast!

Can’t escalate outside the o/s call centre so you get nowhere.

At least writing in to Qantas you usually get a fair outcome, someone reviews it. With VA you get the same o/s agents and if the computer doesn’t have an easy answer, you get a ‘sorry we didn’t meet your expectations, good bye’.

cool. what does all of this almost humblebragging have to do with the DP promo?
and if you value QFF points so poorly, why care about getting double zero value for a MEL-ADL in the first place (since you'd get <1000 more).

my mind is boggling a bit. I would sense a troll but for the post count.

I would have emailed the FF email address with the appropriate info tbh.

HUACA? Or just email the relevant email address with the details as suggested by others already. Are we literally just talking about ~1200 points here (give or take)? I mean... I appreciate the frustration, but to put it into perspective, that's about $12 worth of FF points at the most. Easy to obtain other ways and without the stress.

Yes Agree - but its the principle ... HUACA? After lengthy holds? My phone call was 2 hours worth of drivel/holds from non-empowered Phillipines call centres. And its not the Phillipine''s fault The Amex Plat call centre workes well and quickly every time!

""Taxes on QF flights or QF awards are the same as every other airline flying the same route/class of service
QF awards can have award surcharges (~ 100% profit)" quoted above by Mwenenzi inspired me to mention QFF gouging its non-discerning members, as well as their link to a promo which finished 31.7.23. This is exactly what QFF quoted despite their own webpage and emails about promo which ended 31.12.23 As i said, the lazy kangaroo which seems to reflect the values of many (but not all) of its blinkered members. Frankly the only thing QFF points are usefull for are upgrades to almost non-existent C domestic seats

HUACA is one option. You may score a different call centre that is better able to assist. But of course, I recognise that this is likely not what you want to do after having been on hold for ages already. So email is the best option then. At least then it's all in writing if you need to escalate further.

Are you for real? Sure i get your frustration, but your reaction seems totally disproportionate over 1200 points (by your valuation worth zero).

Enjoy the colour of the grass over at VA which have even LESS J (C is a rather old and mostly US legacy moniker for the Business Cabin imo) seats to possibly upgrade into.

Frankly I'm not sure you want serious or productive suggestions but more a platform to rant. And hey, go fr it... but again I kind of don't understand it. You loathe QF which is pretty clear - and that's fine to do so (I am no apologist for them) but you're also upset about a promo promising even more points (well not that many in reality) that you're also complaining that you can't (or have no value to you) to use.. so I'm not sure what your point is. Why not have credited the flight(s) you took to AA, BA or another carrier that you feel suits your needs better - the none of this would be a problem for you.....

And anyway, on domestic flights it's often the majority of the Business cabins that are upgraded pax (or company staff/buddy passes) and upgrades are fairly easy to come by on many routes - even for lower status folks given the low rates of actual paid J pax on many routes.

I guess YMMV
