Family Pooling Chain

I'm travelling toMelbourne and back next month. I will be taking my wife, and my parents whovery very rarely travel interstate.

I would like to setup family pooling to gain access to the points and SC's earnt. However, itseems I can only have one person set up for family pooling to me. That meansthe other two can't pool to me.

Can I set up afamily pooling chain?

Ie.

Wife pools to mum,who pools to dad, who pools to me?

Will the end resultmean I receive them all?

No, you can't set up "nested pooling" - presumably to circumvent the type of activity you propose . Once someone pools to you, you need to cancel that link before you can pool your own points/SCs to someone else.

Figured as much... Was worth a shot! Is there a way to transfer status credits? I know with points, you can transfer 5000 or more...

Note that family pooling requires the same address.

You're out of luck again - family pooling is the only way to transfer SCs.

Something similar i was hoping people on this thread might be able to help me with.

I currently have my wife pooling to my account, however her parents are taking a trip to Hawaii (Hawaiian air) and I was hoping to stop her pooling with me and have her parents pool to both of us (one each). I understand that any status credits my wife receives will not be transferable but at least I should receive an additional 80 status credits (help to get to Platinum) from one of her parents, and the credits she receives will push her to silver. After these status credits have posted can I remove her parent and re add my wife again to pool to me? Will there be any issue with this, i understand no status credits she has will transfer to me which is fine.
Also wanted to double check that after I cancel her initially that none of the previously transferred status credits will be affected.
Apologies If these seem like silly questions but was unsure so I thought id ask the question of the experts.

In the T&C's it says...

6.28.11 You can create, modify or cancel a Family Pool at any time on the My Account section of the Velocity Website. The Beneficiary Account and Contributing Accounts will be notified by email when any update is made to a Family Pool of which the Beneficiary Account or Contributing Accounts is a Member.

So, I can't see why not. Remember your inlaws would have to move-in with you

Won't be an issue. I modify my family pool regularly depending on who is travelling. Like drewbles mentioned though, the people in the pool need to be living at the same address.
