Hi all
It looks like I will be traveling to Melbourne to watch the Wiggles perform with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra - it is something I have always wanted to do - honestly...
Anyway looking to use some HHonors points and so far can't see any awards appear when I put in 2 adults and 1 child. So I am just wondering what path to take.
- Do I call the Diamond line and try to invoke the Diamond guarantee (or has that disappeared)?
- Do I just book a regular award then when at the hotel next (I have four more trips to Hilton South Wharf before the concert at least) ask them to make a note in the booking?
I am guessing if I want an actual two room suite that might be a stretch to ask for - but worth it given all of the nice hand written letters from the GM saying "please ask if there is anything I can do"
I will be travelling down the day before the wife and boy and staying at HSW on a company paid booking. Would it be too late ask then? I am happy to change rooms for when the family arrives.
Cheers
