Famous people seen (or even met) whilst flying or lounging

First post. Be gentle.

Flying back from the socceroos WCQ against Jordan in Melbourne I upgraded myself using my points to business (first time flying business. It was awesome). I was in the business lounge when I spotted SBS commentator Les Murray. I froze as this was a bloke I had watched on SBS since I was a kid. But that did prepare myself for what happened in 30 minutes time as the entire socceroos squad walked in including the likes of Tim Cahill, Lucas Neill and Mark Schwarzer. Got to meet all the players and wish them luck. A week later I was in the Olympic Stadium cheering them on as we qualified for the World Cup.

Great first post AaronPerth. Welcome to AFF - we don't bite (much)!

Les Murray is a legend - He's done an immense amount of work to promote the sport in this country. I've been following him on sbs since the late 90s. Absolute legend.

Young Harry from that boy band in the Business Lounge this morning, the hordes of girls at the QP entrance alerted me to the fact. "Who are you waiting for girls?" I asked. "Harry" whimpered one of them, nearly in tears.

Last night in the CDG EK lounge, they were paging what sounded like "Mr Colin Firth". I'm sure it wasn't that Colin Firth, though.

Last time I was flying J to MEL on VA, they sounded like they paged a Mr Mark Skaife on the plane during boarding. I'm not quite sure why the Chairman of V8 Supercars (amongst other things) would be travelling in Y - did I bump him out of J? LOL

Harrison Craig - winner of the Voice, was on my flight from LA to Sydney (Virgin - Premium Economy) in August. I didn't actually know who he was (thought he looked a bit familiar), someone in the gate area mentioned who he was.
Kept to himself on the flight, was nice to fans in the boarding area before the flight.

Sat next to Bill Rancic today on VX LAX-ORD. he was the winner of the Apprentice Season 1 in the US and still works for Donald Trump i believe.

(Silly) Christine Milne and her minder/partner/fellow hippie in the MEL J Lounge on 22SEP.

I am disappointed that The Greens don't cycle to Canberra to reduce their carbon emissions... how irresponsible :p

At the table next to us today, enjoying afternoon tea at Fortnum and Mason, was Bill Nighy. Quite the gent he was, compared to some of his recent roles.
