American actress Kate Hudson, her son, and the English band Muse in the Qantas lounge at Coolangatta this afternoon and on QF865 flying OOL-SYD this evening. Apparently the lead singer of the band, Matthew Bellamy, is her fiancé and father of her son. Apart from Hudson, I had no idea who the entourage were until I asked one of the autograph hunters waiting at the gate at Sydney.

I sat next to Sam Kekovitch on a flight from Sydney to Melbourne a couple of years ago in J. He whinged and whined the whole way there about QF letting too many cabin bags on the plane and how old and ugly the flight attendants were. I was very tempted to tell him that he is no oil painting himself but I kept my mouth shut and put my headphones on asap to try and block out the noise.
