Famous people seen (or even met) whilst flying or lounging

He seemed surprised when he boarded and looked at the interior so I asked him if it was his first time on the refurb and he said no it wasn't. I have to agree though, his reaction seemed to be as a first timer, so I was surprised by his answer.

Did he get a CSM greeting? :mrgreen:

I was on that flight. AJ was in 1D, I was in 2F. He seemed surprised when he boarded and looked at the interior so I asked him if it was his first time on the refurb and he said no it wasn't. I have to agree though, his reaction seemed to be as a first timer, so I was surprised by his answer.

Maybe you and subharpoon should have ganged up on him about the removal of the JASA :evil:

People are giving the pollies a hard time about the budget so why not AJ.

... and generally provided constructive feedback on changes to the FF program!

Spotted Barry Marshall of Nobel Prize fame on QF802 today in 1D.

Noticed he didn't recline his seat until well into the flight, unlike the character next to him who reclined into my space about 10 minutes into lunch service.

Spotted in the QF MEL domestic J lounge this morning: Heston Blumenthal (and he was even eating the food..)

Yeah he's great, and his lawyers are even nicer. He sent the big lawyers to take over the name of the old Fat Duck takeaway in Frankston? I mean, y'honour, surely we must save the toffs in the Qantas lounge lest hereafter and heretofore they confuse a Frankton burger for the stuff Bloomingthal thinks is grand.

I had some kind of famous musician on my flight on Thursday, but I have no idea who they were... I picked up that they were on tour because the FA was doting all over them while ignoring me :evil:

Cat207 and I are looking at Leo Sayer in the DRW QC now.

I saw him once at the races at Fannie Bay in DRW - can't remember if it was for the Darwin Cup or another race event but he was talking to Brian Mannix from the 80's band Uncanny X-men & remember thinking at the time that it was an unlikely duo however they both performed at the 2011 Clipsal 500 V8 Supercar race in Adelaide so are probably quite chummy.

Rick Stein just came into the Heathrow Malaysia Flounge. I said "Hey, didn't you use to be Keith Floyd" *

Anyway, he's rolling his eyes at the chicken sausages in the bain marie at the moment.

* No I didn't

I suppose nobody caught sight of Wills & Kate at the Sydney QF F lounge before they flew back to the UK on QF1? I was very surprised they were not on BA!!
