No, seeing I actually met him the next day in the private hangar at Kingsford Smith, but got to spend more time talking on his plane after takeoff.

Today he was in the Flounge in a holiday capacity, family around, almost incognito, not on duty for QF. Didn't want to attract attention to him, so I wasn't going to say anything .

Standard attire.....pretty bog standard when we were there

No special dress code there. We are always casually dressed and it is not an issue but I wouldn't try sandals , a moth eaten tee shirt and stubbie shorts.
