Minder or his boyfriend?Anthony Calea and his minder picking up a car from Hertz on Wednesday night. The really weird thing was they both walked in to the same coffee shop I was in the next morning in a random suburb - quite a strange coincidence. Was half expecting them to be back at Hertz again that night and on the same flight home!

Peter Fitzsimmons, heading down the escalators to Melbourne QP as I was headed up.
Julie Bishop, on a VA MEL-CBR flight yesterday, two seats away. Passed her by on the jetbride and told her I wished she keeps her current job for the next three years.

I believe the larger tables are 'reserved' so that groups can be accommodated. It also gives the ability to seat a P1/CL as you have said.So when I visit the QF First lounge I see a few tables in the dining area with 'Reserved' signs on them, is this part of the VIP treatment? Sometimes I see somebody sitting there with a number of the lounge staff dropping by to talk to them or buzzing around them but they don't look like anybody famous, maybe just CL members?

You could have reminisced about the good old days of FSRA ......On my VA flight BNE/SD yesterday afternoon, The Hon Bernie Rippoll sat next to me. I listen to him on ABC Radio every Tuesday morning. Was a very entertaining chat, he picked up on the fact that I was in the financial planning industry and we chewed the fat on that hoary little chestnut (FOFA) that is creating waves at the moment for some in our industry.
