So did you enjoy the food? I usually expect to enjoy most of it but accept there will probably be a dish or two not to my taste. And how was the service? If you were there for 3 hours, I'm guessing not rushed!

Yes. It's nowhere near your average Indian meal in flavour / presentation. I'd say no more than a handful of dishes had any resemblance to the Indian flavours I'm accustomed to. All courses were lovely to eat with about 6 absolute standouts IMO. The service was the total opposite to stiff, very friendly almost to casual. Lots of laughing, joking, it's a very young crew - the average age of the team is 27 and around 17 different nationalities. Three of the chefs came to our table for a chat .... very friendly atmosphere.

25 courses sounds totally over the top however, we didn't leave feeling like stuffed whales... it was set at a good pace with sensible portion sizes. We enjoyed it, but I wouldn't say it was one the best meals of my life.

However, the other Bangkok restaurant we dined at was one of the best meals I've eaten.

The other restaurant we flew to Bangkok for is Sühring - Restaurant Sühring German in Bangkok! The twins opened their house 16 months ago and have already climbed to #13 on Asia's top 50 Suhring

The house is split into three rooms - Glass House, Living Room, and Kitchen. We were lucky enough to score the kitchen counter .... I highly recommend requesting the counter if you eat here.

View from the kitchen counter

There are two menus, 9 servings or 12 servings. If you dine in the kitchen - the 12 servings is compulsory.

We had a wonderful evening! One of the best meals we've eaten.... the complete package was first class. The setting, food, wine, service, people - just stunning! Do yourself a favour and eat here.

Menu option to upgrade to Japanese Nozaki beef sirloin A5 - we said yes! A5 grade is the highest rating based on marbling and other characteristics Meat Grading | American Wagyu Association - The recommendation from the kitchen was cook medium. We normally like medium rare, but went with the local knowledge - just perfect!
