You come to AFF for advice and end up taking useless flights to get status to make life easier in case you need to take more useless flights in the future.

Unfortunately its not a self funded trip as anyone chasing SC would not do a ATL-MIA milage run falling just short of the 601mile length.....you would want to do a ATL-ORD run which is just over The things we do for clients!

No not having you on at all. 2 hrs for meeting / site recky and still time for airport transfers, security and a visit to the AC

Have looked through all the posts but don't think anyone can help me (well, my mother-in-law) who is going over to the Ol Blighty to surprise her sister (birthday) and congratulate her son (recently announced his engagement).

Tried to upgrade, but didn't realise she'd bought N class fares. Well, at least I tried and failed (to keep in her good books)

Circumstances change! I have just found an award flight (that wasn't appearing on qf...thanks expertflyer!) that lets me get the 0850 departure from MEL-WLG, so i've booked that and will wear the 5000 points if i have to cancel. Only downside is JQ redeye :shock: (thank God i'm used to it!)

so i won't be needing the qp this time round.

but thank you to those who pm'd and offered guesting!

edit: depending if i book qantas or virgin on the way back, i might want guesting then, but i doubt it at this stage ($170 difference between qf and dj for wlg-per...)
