Fiji departures

Hi all,
Holidaying in denarau in a month, is there a departure tax to be paid or is it included in your ticket?
Also we have a 9am sat flight, how long would you expect the checkin customs immigration etc process to take?

No monies to be paid in and out of NAN.

I would say the enitre customs/check in time would take under an hour.

NAN check in can be slow.

I have done both QF/FJ and Virgin Pacific.

Departure tax is included in price of ticket. FJ closes check-in one hour before departure, and they have been very strict about this, so my practice has been to show up at least two hours before departure. Business class/Tabua Club/Gold or Platinum QFF have priority check-in, which is almost always smooth and fast, but economy can be slow, with a long queue.
