Thanks - interestingly does this show a little lack of faith by me in the information coming from QF? Wonder where I got that scepticism from ;)

Just checking my fligths to Tokyo (subject to change of course) - I have a night flight on a "333" pre my itinerary - I am guessing that is a A330?
333 is the code for Airbus A330-300

The QF webiste has it as an A330-300 - do they have dreamtime or skybeds? AGain the QF website says AVOD and Skybed - but I am doubting the skybed. MInd you its a 22:05 flight so I expect to be sleeping that night :)
All QF A330-300 aircraft have Skybeds in J and AVOD throughout he whole aircraft.

The only aircraft with Dreamtime seats are 767-338 (some have Millennium and are used on domestic and trans-Tasman only) and 747-338.

I am guessing the millenium seat is the one without in the in arm screen? I think I saw those on a AKL-SYD flight - was very surprised that there was a big drop down screen for everyone in J to watch. Almost glad that my upgrade didnt come through.

Yep, more and more NZ is becoming a neo-domestic route for Qantas. You still have to pay the OZ & NZ departure taxes then try to recoup same with some duty free, but travel in domestic config aircraft.

One of the annoying things about this potential US trip is that even without innovative routings, if I had started my platinum challenge before my last US trip in July - I would be exec plat by the end of the year

Congratulations; enjoy your stolen candy

Dave

Thanks.

One question - when do my upgrade credits post? I am showing:

Miles Towards Elite Upgrades: 15,003

But no upgrade credits :/ I would think that I would have 4 by now for the 10,000 qualifying miles flown?

Congratulations from me also.

The Upgrade Credits don't seem to post for a little after the miles post. Could take a few weeks for them to show up.
