Oh dear. Perhaps I should rethink my choice of seat...currently I have 1L.

Aren't the seats in Row 1 angled away from the line of sight of the lavs?

They are. Slightly.

But 1D and 1H are close enough to the loos that the angle is of little consequence.

What aircraft? The A350s and A330s don't have a K, as far as I know.

On the A350s, row 2 is the first row for the window seats (A and L - see pic above) and these have a roomier footwell (without the strut). On the A330, row 1 extends the full width.

Ah yes, I can see how that would be problematic. I'm currently in L (got my numbers muddled) so looks like I'm pretty safe from unsavory views at least.

Thanks, I made a mistake so I've corrected my post now. I'm in L. I was after the roomier footwell because I'm a side sleeper on both sides (and not petite).

if I recall correctly, row 1 has the bassinet spots so if someone's bringing on a little one that might get noisy.

I really like these seats. Very spacious, and I like to lounge rather than recline. Flown in them 4 times now

I personally love these seats. My only criticism is that the 2 pillows provided are not enough. It needs 1 more pillow, then it'll be perfect.
