It is strange that they could not apply the 20% as they come across the issue regularly for prepaid HPC stays. I've never had an issue getting it sorted.

I can give the email of the GM's assistant (who is very responsive) if you wish.

Thanks Bill....I eventually got my 20% off (had to surrender the card, unfortunately)...I will only be really upset if i don't get my HHonors pts (I will ask for that email then)...I think it will be doubled (or is it 4x) as I stayed a Sunday:mrgreen:...

It's unusual as they are normally very good IMHO. If you have registered for the promo it will be X4 for all nights with a Sunday in the booking.

Having a mate who was in an actual hotel fire. I'm slightly surprised by the idea to totally ignore a fire alarm. I suppose he wasn't in a big hotel like a Hilton or anything, but still.....

Got my Hhonors pts today - very fast!. I paid $208 per night (after 20% discount) for 2 nights - I seemed to have unexpectedly got a lot more points, 31468 (see breakdown below), for 2 nights. I can't figure why I got so many (? can anyone help / advise) but not complaining (just booked 2 nights at Hilton Fiji @21000 HH pts per night [Pt Stretcher award]when the normal rate is 35000 pts per night).

It does seem that the base points they have given you are generous. Everything else orientates around that.

Am wearing them also right now:!: My SQ F ones are in the wash (both pairs!), so once they're dry they'll be back in rotation. They're much warmer/thicker than the QF ones. Each have their own purpose
