First business class flight

The menu does say you can have both… ‘dine after take off or before landing, or both’. Which I’ve always taken to mean you could have something at both ends of the flight. But I’ve never gone for that option given the extremely limited flight/sleep time.
My experience this year and it’s spelled out via BTC only one meal selection possible. Upon nearing Oz breakfast was being served for those who chose breakfast. Others like us who chose the dinner option served after takeoff, we could get a cup of coffee only. No big deal in the scheme of things. Certainly enjoyed the BTC dinner.
End of the day I’m sure it’s simply cost cutting.
