I showed this trip report to SO, it has been forwarded onto the VA GM Cabin Crew for recognition.

That is wonderful news, thanks. You may have more internal contacts than me and it would be great knowing my feedback went to the correct people. I have David's business card and have forwarded the link for him as well.

Thanks everyone for your support - this is such a friendly community that I'm proud to be a part of. It it has broadened my perspective of travel in so many ways. I will always regard flying as a huge part of the journey, not just a means to a destination.

Congratulations on 20 years, and thank you for the trip report! :)

We're flying business next year and I'm so stupidly excited.

Oh I am jealous already! Being stupidly excited is the ONLY way to be excited, good on you! Enjoy the planning and researching that goes with a big holiday and have the most spectacular time!

All I can say is WOW!

Many of my friends here would know that I have spent the last 8 months or so, planning our 20th Wedding Anniversary trip to the USA. We fly here often with our 4 kids, usually packed in from row 46 back. But this time it was all the way in style - J class on the Virgin Australia 777.

A great report clipped_wings and I remember a similar level of excitement when we celebrated our 40th with our first international J flight (to Europe). That occurred with lot of helpful advice from AFF members, as have a number of other J flights since, but I still get that wonderful feeling of excitement each time we head off.

Congratulations on your anniversary, on such a nice trip report, and to VA for showing what is possible.

Thank you for a great report.

I am now looking forward even more to my J trip to the US next February to attend a genealogy conference. I think the flight will be more exciting than the conference!!
