Note that most Admirals Clubs have cash bars and food for purchase. A QP Member/Qantas Elite using an A/C would get drink vouchers but still needs to pay for any food.

Sorry to resurrect an old thread, but it is on topic.
What's the rules with being a WP and taking a guest to the AA Flagship Lounges (assuming you're eligible for access yourself)? Can you/can't you? I couldn't find a definitive answer on the AA website about OWE members and guest access.
As far as the actual lounge is concerned - anything is better than being stuck in the terminal! The ORD lounge was nicer than LAX in my opinion, and the ORD barhrooms were a disgrace
