So what are the FL lounges like?

Small QP's with self serve bars and slightly better food.

Note that most Admirals Clubs have cash bars and food for purchase. A QP Member/Qantas Elite using an A/C would get drink vouchers but still needs to pay for any food.

AA are very good at correctly interpreting lounge access rules.

Sorry to resurrect an old thread, but it is on topic.

What's the rules with being a WP and taking a guest to the AA Flagship Lounges (assuming you're eligible for access yourself)? Can you/can't you? I couldn't find a definitive answer on the AA website about OWE members and guest access.

I used the FL lounges in Feb at LAX as well as ORD. I also had a guest with me who's QP Gold

We were both on Y upgrades to First and then to J

As far as the actual lounge is concerned - anything is better than being stuck in the terminal! The ORD lounge was nicer than LAX in my opinion, and the ORD barhrooms were a disgrace
