What type of aircraft were you on? If it were an ATR, perhaps they only pack one meal each on a short flight? Could you buy a second, or were you just told no?

I was offered a second drink (another Orange Mango drink) if I wanted to purchase it.

The following is from the Virgin website - to me it says that you receive a package of food and drink and then anything extra you need to purchase.
