Hi All,

I'm trying to use a flight credit from early Jan.

When I select my new flight I see a change fee of $99 - it says on the email that any change fees that were applicable to the original booking apply unless they have been waived - I'm pretty sure there weren't change fees on the original booking as the covid flexibility was still on then.

Anyone else run into this?

Thanks.

I think there was a bug recently where I changed a couple of bookings by going into a credit and then rebooking, and bypassing the $99 change fee. I was quite impressed with myself at the time - as I should have been charged the $99 on rebooking like you have been.

Sounds like they might have over-corrected and are charging the fee on any booking from a credit, so you might need to call them (or double check the conditions of the flexibility from your original booking).

Or I need to find that bug!

I called them up and they did it over the phone without the change fee. Posting here in case someone else is affected by this in the future.
Also very impressed when calling I didn't have any wait.
