Flight Upgrades & Status Credits

I can confirm with certainty that you DO NOT get Business class SC.
I upgraded with a Platinum bonus upgrade and got usual Flexi Y SC. - This was confirmed by VFF as what should happen.

FWIW, every one of my ten or so J upgrades (both complimentary and points) in recent months have been Z fares resulting in me being credited with full J SCs...

You must know someone then. Or they hate me... Doesnt really matter anyway, the other mob has had the majority of my business this year, because i find them easier and less tine consuming

So I suppose international Z class fares (being an international Y Flexi upgraded on points to J) are going to attract J SCs then also?
