Flights FROM asia to BNE that are not overnight

I don't enjoy over-nighters. Sadly, most of my return flights are night flights. Problem trying to get daytime flights is often getting to an airport, in my case BKK from a place two hours away, for an 0800 departure, with TG for example, would see me lose half a nights sleep anyway. Getting from my friend's flat in Osaka to KIX for an AM departure is also difficult as public transport does not start before 0600 including the limousine buses. Avoiding early morning arrivals, if overnight, can be accomplished if I use the dreaded Scoot out of SIN @ 0145, into SYD 1240 or so, immigration, customs and baggage a breeze!;)

Exactly the point of my post. The afternoon Emirates flight from Singapore worked ok for us. It also comes down to productivity I guess. If we wait around to get the daytime flight, we might have well have gotten home and moped around grumpy for the day.
