Flights taken while 'assessing activity' in the month after Review Date

Do flights taken in this limbo period count towards the previous year or next year?

My review date was 12 June, but the Velocity site still says 'currently assessing your activity over your membership year'.

I flew on the 17th and 18th last weekend, and those points and status credits have just come through. I expected them to count towards next year's activity but it looks like they were added to the tally of last year?

They should be added to your new year.

They have been known to 'vanish', so keep you BP's and claims at the ready.
