Hi VFF et all,

Im unable to locate an information on AFF re the possibility of "Flying ahead" on a Y Reward ticket . Can this be done ?

If yes , would it be the case that there had to be a Y reward seat available on the earlier flight for this to be approved , or is it as simple as there being any Y seat available ?

Thanks in advance . Apologies if this has been covered off previously .

"by the T&C's" then, yes, the same booking class needs to be available.

"In practice", an earlier flight with an available seat and a smile is often all that's needed.

YMMV

To the OP - thanks for asking the question - I have booked a Y Reward seat in a few weeks - and may want to Fly Ahead. Whilst not strictly following the T&C's, you'd think they'd offer a little goodwill to get you home a little earlier.

If not - just spend extra time in the lounge consuming as much food and alcohol as possible.

VFF... thanks for coming back to me so quickly
serfty ... thanks also ... coincidently this has something to do with VA FT AGM and getting me into BNE earlier (10.30 instead of 11.30 ) if my next Sat morning comes together a bit earlier.
Blackswan- When one has lounge access , one always tries to maximise one's lounge time & consumption where possible.
