Fly QF to London in J seats at PE price

Interesting, that confirms the experience we've been having trying to allocate seats on bookings for QF29 MEL-HKG in D and QF30 HKG-MEL in T at the end of the year.

On the T booking PE is restricted to the PE cabin alone. I thought it might be a problem with the system not recognising the status we earned since flying the outbound leg of the T booking, but in accordance with what you've said, on the D booking, the J class cabin includes the F cabin and all regular J seats.

So it appears that there has been a shift to selling more 14 more J seats rather than selling more Y seats. :)
 
I looked at a few seat maps yesterday for late Oct, and I tended to see:
J pax in F, J pax in J, PE in PE, Econ in Econ,.

So, perhaps J loads have started picking up again...

QF 30 last week had Y pax in PE, PE pax in J, and J pax in F (and maybe some J pax in J as well). I am not sure when this is ending. Does anyone know when the 'No F' arrangement will end?
