Mrs Mac just received an offer for double status credits, any destination, ‘book by April 10, travel by June 29’. She has made 3 x paid J trips HKG - MEL - HKG - MEL in the past month. All were booked just outside the public double SC offer so hoping to get some trips booked during this one.

That one would work too! I just received an offer this morning - 25% more status credits to New Zealand - the one offer that is no use to me at the moment - aaaargh!

I received the offer Monday and I'm not a David, or even a bloke! Maybe it's because I always book a trip when double SC are on offer.....to Sydney!! Weird

Do you guys think the offers may have been targeted at people that have (recently) flown to NZ and/or USA with Qantas?

In my case, I've flown to NZ on QF regularly (and got an offer for this) but not recently to the USA (and didn't get that offer).

I don't think so. I received the NZ offer. Only flown there once almost two years ago in J during a sale that meant it was ~$1.1k return PER - AKL.

I decided to send QFF a cheeky email -

Hi,

In the spirit of "if you never ask you will never get" - I've just received the +25% Status Credits offer for bookings to New Zealand - but that one is no good to me - is there any possibility of receiving the +50% Status Credits to the USA offer instead? :-) My frequent flyer membership year ends on 30th of April, I have already requalified Silver, but if I book Flex with the +50% offer then that will get me enough Status Credits to make Gold - otherwise I will just book the cheapest fare - so the +50% offer is a win-win all around - more revenue for Qantas as I will be booking a Flex fare instead of a cheap one, and I get Gold again - lost it a few years ago unfortunately :-(

Best regards,
