A/C B got another offer $80 one off spend for 2,000 points. Meanwhile the one-off $70 spend offer is still there.

FB seems very keen to rapidly increase spend from $50 mark.

I've been spending too much.
2000 for $130 + $110/week for 2 weeks for 3000.
Dangerously under 10% return.

You should know better!!!!!!

Go stand in the corner!

Meanwhile last minute Friday offers for A & B - one off spend $90 get 3,600.

Given these accounts spend max $50.ZX / wk - there must be enough people who get hooked by these offers. Throw the hook out every few weeks, break down people's resistance (or go to work on apathy) and finally they bite.

I think they'll go in the draw altogether, Mrs Excel's account will get some attention for a change.
My main problem has been laziness and not bothered splitting transactions when I hit the spend threshold.

Just got off my 4 week, 10,000 point bender with Coles, and received these offers:

$3000 bonus FlyBuys for $150 or more in store is way too rich for my blood, even if it isn't technically a multi-week. The liquor offer seems decent albeit I'm well stocked for the time being and I hardly doubt an AA run would be recommended by my sherpa.

Also came across this offer. Looks like I'll scan my Flybuys card the next time I head into a Coles Express to get one of their reduced sandwiches whose use by date is today:

Just received a $60 for 2,000 points this Wed to Friday offer. I’ve basically stopped using flybuys card for last 6 weeks except for a couple of $2 purchase when walking past Coles with the hope this would get offers below $120 or more I was getting 6 weeks ago. So maybe that’s a data point on how long it takes to drop back :)

So Flybuys have back it up with another $60 for 2,000 points Saturday to Tuesday.

So at 16% return I’ve met todays (just) and will go again tomorrow.

The clock is ticking on the spend declines.

This week received 2,000 point offers (differenct accounts) for a one-off $70 spend, and an $80 spend. Left the buttons alone.

Still better than the $90 last week that was left ignored.

Another account has received spend $50/wk for 2 weeks to get 2,000 points. No interest will wait for 4 x $50 for 10k. Next round of those offers should surface next week or the week after.

I would not encourage anyone to dig through the rubbish bin at Coles to find dockets they can claim Flybuy points and bonus offers on. However, given the lacklustre Flybuys offers people have received recently, I do have to question how else people can earn Flybuys points by shopping at Coles :p

Hmm.
I just had a double up offer (2 offers overlapping on one day). Spend $210 for 8400 points x 2. So $88 of points for a $210 spend!

That's a great double double offer offer.
I don't seem to get double ups with dates.

Anyway semi often 20% come my way. On a $130 for 5200 points this week which I'll achieve. While the other mob offering 900pts for $100 shop, laughable.

RE: bin scabbing for discarded Coles store receipts.
***OT(Re: going to the bin and trying to find discarded receipts, its like some people going through used cigarette receptacles, ie, ciggie bins, and then resmoking/ie, lighting up other peoples half used ciggies, don't laugh, I have seen it happen!***
As for going through bins looking for discarded Coles store receipts, not sure if it would work, on several levels.
(a):those FB offers are specific to the person to which the FB offer has been offered, ie, not to you or I, but as to the person whose records are linked to the discarded receipt, as to if you, as the non legal recipient of the offer, I am not sure if you will get the bonus points.
If you read the bonus FB offer terms, down the bottom, in "view details", it says, "you have been specifically selected for this offer, and is not transferrable"...
(b):the bottom of Coles store receipts, tend to be only for Liquorland grog, that one is (maybe) generalistic, but as to other things, not sure if it would work.
Who knows, that discarded receipt might already have FB activated, and the owners card has already been scanned, and the receipt discarded, so if you go with the receipt to the middle checkout and say you forgot to scan your FB card, they might say that the receipt has been used.
Some receipts too say, "you could have earnt xx_ points, join FB now to claim the points"...
Edit, don't see buying food at Coles and earning FB points as useless activity, meaningless activity, see it as a way of keeping your VFF poings and account alive, with not much/no flying activity.
Same as WWR and QFF.
Slow steady steps to when we can fly freely again.

That's the point. You could find a receipt that obviously didn't have a FlyBuys card scanned and then claim it was your own. I've never done it, though I have been tempted. I do wonder if they would get on to you though.
I've given up on Virgin points. The bonus offers with FlyBuys makes it very worthwhile to just use your points on shopping discounts.

Heh, can you imagine the look if you go bin diving looking for Coles receipts.
if they have left it in the trolleys, not so bad, or on the ground, a bit, icky of course.
OT***One time, long time ago, only relevant in South Aust, I decided to go and do bin scabbing/scagging for 10c cans/bottles/milk cartons, got told off by a security guard at a shopping centre, guess they have an agreement that the cleaners of that place get to separate and then take 10c items to get back the deposit, good money earner in summer, that one.
I don't smoke either, so have never had the inclination to scab for used cigarettes.***

Too many variables, as to whether discarded Coles receipts will work/succeed in/to earn you FB points, I have never tried either, only ever gone back when my relos forgot to get their FB card scanned when they buy at Coles.

Okay after multiple $2-5 spends to get my average spend down Flybuys have just given me a $50 x 4 weeks for 10000 offer :)

oh really, you deliberately spent loose change a few times & you've been offered a $50 weekly spend.

nice one.

I often get the 20% return offers so I'm happy hitting them most times.
