Flybuys Targeted Bonus Promotions

$70 x 4 weeks = 10,000 points
Maybe I have spent too much at Coles recently. all the previous offers were $50 x4
At the previous levels, little wandering
Fred

I ducked into Coles at 5:30 tonight dressed in my sports gear after a swim session.
Grabbed $65 worth of goods and headed to the self serve checkout.
Put through the first $55 and scanned the flybuys card to meet my first week of 4x50 spend. Plus got 1200 for $30 spend as a bonus.
l left one deli item behind for the next transaction as it would have bumped me to $65. Paid with my card and put the items in the bag.
Gentleman behind me saw the one deli item remaining on the conveyer and said, “mate, I can pay for that if you're doing it tough".
Told him that I was doing ok and was playing the Flybuys game.
I told him it was a very nice gesture and thanked him for being that type of human.
(The deli item was lobster tails)

I've seen plenty of posts from people who've used a Flybuys offers and the receipt doesn't print that message "You've used week 1...." but their activity statement shows the transaction.

But has anyone had it the other way round?

I completed week on of a 4x$50 on Saturday. The receipt shows my Flybuys number and has the message "You've completed your week 1 shop..."

However, my Flybuys account doesn't show the transaction.

Weirdly, a separate transaction at the same store, on the same day, does appear in my account.

I have the receipt and can pursue it after the offer period if required, but I'd rather not have the hassle.

The last 2 4 week offers I used, when connected to an online order, points have failed to materialise forcing me to email. It's a pain.

Best to keep all receipts and screen captures of special bonus points offers. Compared to EDRs , FBs point tracking can be hit or miss. Unfortunately, there are occasions when you have to retro claim for the points.

I think I had the same issue late last year. I rang and they assured me it would fix itself and they had the first shop recorded and it was OK in the end. I also keep a screen shot of all my receipts and the offer until the bonus points arrive

As we know CE (Coles Express) got sold off, and we all thought Viva was going to be the take over, well, nope, not in South Aust, where Caltes has taken over.
Now, no more FB at a lot of the outlets near me, they have gone Caltex.
So, no more coffees, or for those who used to have a CE near them, its goodbye, CE.
Yes, their fuels were more expensive, but they were a good way of keeping VFF account alive, by buying a bit of fuel from them occasionally, or even just chocolate bars, or ice cream, or non smoking items.
Sad face.
Wonder whats going to happen now, will I no longer see FB fuel or food item offers, with less FB fuels, or none soon, in South Aust anyway.
Most likely, all over Aust, every CE outlet will change to Caltex, so have to keep an eye out colleagues.
Maybe already happened in your suburb!

Are the days of targeted 10k bonus offers for 4x $$ spend over? Now seem to be getting 5x FB points offers for in store or online spends, valid for a few days.
