Flybuys Targeted Bonus Promotions

It is a bit tricky keeping up with all of the transactions and bonus points payable. I keep my own list of transactions and check the flybuys list on a regular basis. I note all of the bonus offers payable for each transaction and check them off once they are paid and put them in a separate list and reconcile them against the flybuys transaction list. I have fun with numbers and points games so I don't usually find it to be a chore.

The reason I'm concerned about the general Coles brand double points offer is that I'm guessing the points will be paid in one lump sum and I'll have to add up all my individual amounts to make sure the right amount of points has been paid.

Flybuys have been getting better with putting in the original transaction date when crediting bonus points but they aren't perfect so this particular promotion might be difficult to track. I've found it's sometimes harder to get points from general offers than it is for credits of targeted offers.

Whilst I freely admit that I am very much the apprentice, here are today's efforts:

Shop: $77
Week 1 spend $50: 750
Frozen coupon $17.50: 250
Deli coupon $5: 100
Fresh meat coupon $10: 250
Dental coupon $5: 100
Laundry coupon $5: 100
Cheese coupon $7.50: 250
Health food coupon $5: 100
Triple points email: 154

Total 2,131.

I have to admit I can't quite recall the points earned for each coupon so the total is an estimate only, but I reckon it is close.

Now I am off for a lie down.

Yep. No calculator involved.

750 bonus points for $110 spend at Coles 'til Sunday and 750 for $40 spend at liquorland or first choice. I know which one is more likely to be taken up

My email offer is 500 points for a $60 spend at Coles. This will work nicely with my "spend $60 for 500 points" docket deal and I'll add my triple points for week 2 coupon to this plus probably a few other coupons as well.

Have received a few offers recently:

Spend $40 at Liquorland or First Choice to receive 750 points
Spend $60 Coles to earn 500 points or spend $90 to earn 1000
Earn triple points on clothing at Target
Earn 450 bonus points when you buy selected Gilette Blade Cartridges or Razors

I'm broke until payday so won't be taking up any offers this week :(

My weekly Coles shopping trip ended up being $64. By combining 9 flybuys points offers plus base points I'll end up with 2266 points for the transaction which works out to $11.33 savings which is aprroximately 18% savings.

How could you get 9 point offers. ?

A combination of coupons, docket deals. targeted email offers and the general coles product double points offer. I call all of these collectively "offers". I had coupons/docket deals for frozen food, meat, fruit and veg and soft drink as well as a triple points coupon. I had two offers for 500 points which were used on the same shopping trip.

My free money is back. Received email offer: spend $110/$140 to receive $5/$15 voucher or triple points.

$5 isn't as good as $10 but it's better than nothing.

I got an offer of $5 voucher for a $50 spend and $15 voucher for an $80 spend.

My plan was to spend $40 and get my 250 points with the week 3 coupon. I might have enough needs to get to $50. I've got a couple of other docket deals I can use plus the coles double points offer so I'm considering spending the $50 to get the voucher.

I got a couple of interesting offers from flybuys today.

The first one was from the Baby and Toddler Club. They offered me what they called a double points redemption. I had the opportunity to redeem 1000 points for $10 off specific Huggies nappies or nappy pants. The trick is that I would have to purchase them on or before Sunday May 25. Normally 1000 points is worth $5. I thought about the offer and got my local Coles to price check and give me some info about the exact size and quantities we could use the offer for. Huggies aren't on special at the moment so it would only be $10 off the full price. I don't usually use Huggies as they are usually too expensive even when on special. I crunched the numbers and figured out I wouldn't be saving anything on the nappies and only saving a little bit on the price I usually pay for nappy pants on the rare times I actually buy nappy pants. I decided not to take up the offer.

This would be a good offer for people who regularly buy Huggies nappies and sometimes have to pay full price for them.

The other offers I got were for some new products at Coles. Various bonus points were offered a specific laundry liquid, organic butter and cereal. The offer lasts a couple of weeks so I'll probably look out for specials on these products and combine the bonus points offers with the special price. If I don't get the combo then I just won't take up the offers as I won't be saving enough just on the points alone.

Interesting offers rainbowgirl. Not sure we can realistically take up any of them, even if we were offered anything similar. No offers here:(:(:(

Been offline for the last 8 days due to a QLD trip, have been shopping at Coles while away.

Have received some good docket deals and targeted offers. Docket and Targeted deal of spend $60/$90 to get 1000/2000 points (docket deal) and $5/$15 voucher (email), docket deal of 200 points when you buy 2 uncle tobys Muesli Bar 6 or 12 packs.
Targeted email deals of:

- triple points on homewares at Target;
- 500 bonus points for Dynamo Sensitive Front Loader Laundry Liquid;
- 250 bonus points for Special K 3 grain range
- 250 bonus points for Mainland Organic Butter 250g

I'll take on their offer of the spend $60, Special K, muesli bars and most likely the laundry liquid, extra FB points will come in handy, giving EDR a miss this fortnight.

You've got some great offers there. I got a few of the same offers.
I got the triple points on homewares at Target which will come in handy tomorrow when I buy a new iron. My old one died the day before the homewares offer came in.
I got the Dynamo offer and the other product offers with it but my Dynamo one said 600 points.
I got a docket deal for points and an email voucher offer but both targets were too high this week so I'll only be making a small shopping trip and just taking up a triple points email offer and a double points coupon.
