I dont prefer etihad due to most my holiday around asian country. and always take SQ

Convert them to Flybuys Dollars and buy any gift card you want. I think 550,000 converts to $2750 Flybuys Dollars.

It is more value converting to frequent flyer programme. Hopefully Flybuys will increase the limitation transfer to velocity. So far only etihad has unlimited transfer.

I use this redemption method, however bbqwer is probably looking for a better than 0.5cents per point conversion rate given they paid around about this amount to get the points.

I think the flybuys travel redemption is the same conversion rate as flybuys dollars.

Check out the flybuys shop for double value rewards if they still have them. You can get up to 1 cent per point if you find a reward which fits in with the things that you already buy.

I guess you have reached your limit on transfer to VA.
