Flybuys Targeted Bonus Promotions

4 x $100 for 10K on mine… very easily done if I switch to Coles for the most part over that period.

Nothing for me, had a couple 4 weekers recently which been great, but on the bench this time.

Mrs Moo got the 4x$50 for 10k.

Coles FB certainly playing nicely lately which the other mob can keep there x2 or x5 spend offers, yuko.

They just keep on coming. Anywhere from $60 x 4 to $110 x 4 is all good. I'm rotating Flybuys points and $50 off. Thank you Coles. Try to keep those online picking packers out of my way though.

You'll make the decison about whether you want frequent and generous offers or not.
I do get frequent and generous offers. No need to make it more complex than it really is just to make yourself sound special.

I did it. Took, what, 2 minutes max.
Remove it from Coles web site, input all your data again, remove and replace in Google wallet, remove and replace in the app, change the stored settings on my browser on multiple devices. No way it's under 2 mins.

Horse. Water. I'm out.

4 x $80 for 10k and overlaps with a $110 for 2k that ends today.
Yes me too. Coles must be really trying to stick it to Woolies (who have become rather complacent, IMO).

Edit: But when the Coles delivery arrives and there's $40+ of out of stocks and it makes your purchase less than the threshold amount, you start to fume a little and get on the phone (which was a useless excercise given the agent).

But Coles is pretty good at this carp IMO. Woolies is a much better company for deliveries, but their offers are rather poor to non existant.

C'est la Vie.

Haven't been to Coles for ages and received 4 x $100 for 4 weeks for 10K points

No thanks
Simple rule - NEVER spend more than low $50s in one transaction ($50-54), no issue with paying once you've reached that threshold and starting a new transaction (even on same card, but ideally a different one).

Useful approach - always start with highest price per item purchases first (like meat) - much easier to control stopping at low $50s that way.

I wish I knew how to poke the algorithm into action. Often, going away for a month is perfect. But this time I get back with no new offers at all. I want to buy groceries, but doing so without a promo offer just seems wrong.
Do small shops per transaction ($30 <) if you want the $50 offers to come up quickly. Spread across various family accounts (if you have them).

Are you kidding me?
I got the same offer for $40/week over 2 weeks. Won't be making use of it though as I only buy liquor when I'm overseas at much lower prices than here.

Appears that you can still get 1000 bonus points if you spend the target amount in one but not the other of the two weeks.

So if I'm doing a $200 shop, I stop and pay in $50 increments? I always assumed it went off weekly averages or something. I will give this a go once I finish this $110/weekly shop 10,000 bonus.

Just as EDR has become stingy, Flybuys has been a river of points for me.

2K for $50 three weeks ago, 2.4K for $60 two weeks ago, 2K for $70 last Friday, 2K for $70 earlier this week, will get 2K for $70 on Monday (and 3K for spending over $180 when I bought some gin) and complete my 10K for $50x4 in just over two weeks. (It'll be a bugger to get spending back down to $50 per week, but a few $20-$30 shops should do it.)

And there's a 5% transfer bonus for transfers to Velocity this month. :)

I can't see anything in Flybuys or Velocity app for the 5% bonus. Can you tell me where that is?

Short answer yes.

If possible and are not single then open a completely new FB account in the name of all members of your household (that are human, not just behave that way but really have 4 legs & a tail...).

Failing that, if you have any relatives (blood ones ideally) and they do not play the points game (FBs or VFF) then ask if they'd mind you opening a FB account in their name but having it sent to you etc.

You will need a DIFFERENT email address for each account (WW's twigged to that a few years back but do not check them manually nor seem to allow for gmail's quirks for derivative email addresses - do some research). Same mailing address is fine, ensure accurate date of births etc.

Hi,
I'm pretty confident that I enabled a 4x$50 / 10k over the weekend. I completed my first shop but now that offer is nowhere to be seen on my Fly Buys account. Normally, these stick around and tell me what week number I'm up to. Does this mean that it didn't activate successfully?

The last handful of these multi week offers we've had have all disappeared. Does you week 1 receipt have the blurb about completing week 1 and only three weeks to go?

Don't panic, yes they often disappear and then come back at some point.
