Flying First Class to London on BA

The BA first cabin on the 747 is pretty small. It would be nice to try on one of the wider bodied planes.

Wider body? Is that one of those mythical three aisle aircraft? I prefer F on BA on the 747 to the 777 - it feels more like your own cabin...

I ended up getting the new fit out on the way to LHR. We were allocated seats 1A and 1K. The flight attendant tells me that these seats are reserved for royalty when they fly.

Welcome on board Your Heinous!

and how much wider than a 744 would you like??

Mmmmmmm..... Interesting......... I ALWAYS sit in 1A in F. I guess that makes me a "Queen"

and an equally warm welcome to you, Your Heinous. Or may I call you "Ma'am"?

In the BA fleet there is nothing better than a 747 F cabin.....and row 1 & 2 are the best.

The 777 F cabin is not ideal with the FA tool shed up front.

FWIW, I sat 1k last week & didn't feel anything like a queen......or king

Did you try one of those lovely bacon rolls?

I'm booked to fly BA First from Vegas to LHR 10 March. Does anyone know how I can tell if the 747 I'll be traveling on will have the new F cabin?
