I am flying QF HLO from AKL and my flight has been delayed. How early can I go through security?

My app shows that I have access to the QF FLounge at AKL

Delayed by how much?

I'd say 3 or so hours for international

Technically you can go thru security as soon as the check-in opens for the flight. That's the yardstick most airports use. Usually, when I'm on the 06xx QF departure from AKL, I go thru security as soon as it opens, around 0430 from memory.

This is good actually - you get to fly less, spend more time home and get the same number of status credits per your original flight. ORC - Original Routing Credit is your mate in this case. Look at the link @offshore171 posted.

I guess seeing I’m arriving earlier I’ll probably wander over to Domestic and use the arrivals lounge even though going through security again can be a bit of a pain
