Flying to Cappadocia - Which airport?

Hi all, we are flying EK123 DXB to IST next week.
Flight arrives at 2.25PM and we want to do a connection to Cappadocia with TK.

I have read that you can fly into NAV - Nevşehir Kapadokya Airport or ASR - Kayseri Erkilet Airport to get to Cappadocia.
Which airport do you recommend?

Also, are these flight times doable?
IST to ASR @ 6:15PM (next departure at 8:25pm)
IST - NAV @ 6:55PM (this is the last flight to NAV for the day)

In 2016, I flew into Nevsehir and out of Kayseri

I don't recall much difference between them on preference for Cappadocia access.

NAV is slightly closer, assuming you're staying in Goreme. I'd probably go for that since it build's a tiny extra bit of buffer in case of delays on your way in, and won't make a material difference to your actual arrival time.

We flew into ASR on TK (as it was booked as a connection from DLM) but flew out of NAV. Either airport seemed to be OK, although as we arrived quite late, we stayed at the Novotel near Kayseri airport before continuing to Goreme the next morning, which made sense.

We did Kayseri as there are more flights a day from Istanbul/Antalya airports.

I was perfectly fine and almost every hotel provides pick-up/drop-off

This makes sense. I was scared TK cancels the flight to NAV and it is the last one at 6.55pm.
I guess I can always book another to ASR or ask them to change.
We have to be there by 5am next morning.
