I have quite a lot of QFF, VFF and SQ points (I figured it would be easiest to post in the Qantas forum though I realise it will differ by airline, etc.)
I'd like to take a flight with a friend to Europe who is a much less fortunate situation than myself and therefore use some of my points from one of these (QFF, VFF or SQ) programs for both of our tickets. There would be no exchange of money; this is simply a gift to a good friend. Do either Qantas, Virgin, Singapore Airlines or any other airline permit this? I don't want to get my account suspended because they see points used and two different surnames on the tickets?
Otherwise, do any airlines allow transfers to another FF account? I know they try to prevent point sales but perhaps some airlines or programs are more open others.
