Has anyone successfully had Velocity points post from a FlyPelican flight? I flew BNK-CBR on 14 August. The flight is showing up under MyActivity but with no points, just a '-'.

I tried to fill out the retrospective claim form and got the message "The passenger is not eligible for the FFP program".

For reference, I booked through the FlyPelican website on a 'V' fare class.

I’d be amazed if anyone in VA HQ not laid off or stood down even remembered their FlyPelican partnership!

They struggled to credit their partners even when fully operational...

Did you follow this up with Velocity and/or get a resolution, @Ms_KH? I'm thinking about booking a Fly Pelican flight myself.

According to the Velocity website, V class is eligible to earn points...

What on earth?

There is no mention of this exclusion on the Velocity website - it just says that you can't earn points for flights between Newcastle and Adelaide.

If the CBR-BNK route is excluded from earning points, this shouldn't be buried in the fine print on a page that nobody sees. I don't think that's fair and would be disputing this with Velocity if I were you.

As the route is very new, post-VA-administration, sounds like simply not that it was actively excluded just no one bothered to update the table to include it.

I contacted Velocity Frequent Flyer in regards to your issue, @Ms_KH. They informed me that the only FlyPelican route ineligible to earn Velocity points is still NTL-ADL - it looks like somewhere the systems were not updated after FlyPelican launched CBR-BNK and some of their other new routes. This should soon be fixed going forward.

Velocity advised that you should contact FlyPelican directly if you still want to submit a missing points claim, as Velocity doesn't handle retro claims with that particular partner airline.

Thanks!

I just got an email yesterday afternoon:
