I'm totally guilty of the leg shaking. Hubby is the same.

It's almost completely involuntary - when someone tells me to stop, then I notice it and stop. But it will invariably start up again soon .... sorry ... :(

No OCD for me or hubby JohnK. Just nervous energy.

Same here.

Someone in my household will tell me to stop, but I usually start again afterwoods unknowingly and unintentionally.

The only person I know personally who does this is a rather tense and 'uptight' person. Does that fit ? And how can it be cured?

Wow! Who knew I had to read a frequent flyer forum to realise there are many out there with the same affliction as me?

I am constantly tapping my foot, shaking my leg or what not without even realising I am doing it. My wife tells me, then I stop but will start up again shortly after without even knowing it.

Funny thing is that while we are the afflicted others are the affected (or effected???) and I certainly think some are more affected by the afflicted than others. Perhaps it's their issue to resolve?

(I also unknowingly whistle, out of tune and in public.....don't judge me!)

Guilty as charged. But at least I can keep a beat.
