As many will know FlightStats - Global Flight Tracker, Status Tracking and Airport Information can be searched by individual flight number for delay statistics including frequency and extent. That website also compares one flight against others from the same airline or competitors to give potential passengers an idea of the likelihood of delays on a particular flight (even though every day starts anew.)
www.flightradar24.com has 'enhanced' its site (even for freeloaders who do not pay for 'premium' access.) Earlier this week flight actual times were only being displayed in UTC but thankfully these have reverted to local times.
'Average delay' and 'average flight time' are now shown.
So far I have only seen 'average delay' depicted for a few flights. It is unclear whether this means 'average delay' for this flight, the airline concerned operating that flight on that route (overall), or all operators lumped together. I suspect that it is the first one mentioned.
Amusingly, 'average flight time' appears to vary by a minute or so between different airlines on say a route such as MEL - HBA. Again, no explanation is provided by FR24.
